Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 12 hours notice must be given to reschedule or cancel an appointment, otherwise a fee is applicable. The fee is $47 for cancellations or changes within the 12-hour window of your appointment time or 100% of the service fee if you miss your appointment entirely. Thank you for your understanding.

What to expect?

Your initial appointment will include a thorough case history and physical assessment. Following this, you will undergo exercise therapy and/or hands-on osteopathic treatment, depending on your goals and what your Osteopath deems appropriate. For most injuries, an individualised exercise program will be prescribed in order to rehabilitate and reduce the risk of injury recurrence.

What to prepare?

If possible please fill out a "New Patient" form before you come to your appointment (this is attached to your booking confirmation email). When you attend your appointment, please wear loose fitted clothing. Depending on the area of injury you may be asked to undress to your underwear as this allows for the most accurate assessment and appropiate access to areas for treatment. You will be draped for modesty at all times.

Also think about the nature and history of the problem you want addressed: how did it start, what were the circumstances leading up to your injury, what things have worked for you previously, what things make it worse, etc.
Having some functional goals in mind will assist our practitioners in giving you the best plan moving forwards: you want to return to sport, be able to care for your grandchildren, have the capacity to climb a ladder or shift potting mix, etc.
